Lesson 4: "Secret" drills you need to try
A lot of gyms might never program these movements but these accessory drills are great for developing strength and will help you develop you pulling power.
Bicep Curls
Struggling with the bicep strength, this body building staple won't disappoint.
Lat Pull-down
If you have access to a lat pull-down machine, these are amazing for building back and lat strength. The PVC pulldown drill can also help.
Scapular Pull-ups
Perform straight armed pull-ups by simply engaging and retracting your shoulder blades back and moving up and down in a slow and controlled manner. A lot harder than they look.
Rows, Flys and Batwings
These dumbbell and bench movements are great at building back strength. Perform them slow and controlled with a decent amount of weight for 8-12 reps.
All of these "bodybuilding' drills are super effective at building your strict pull-up.
